The 2019 Loyalty Conferences List

One of the great things about working at Clarus is that we are always encouraged to learn.

That’s why we attend a variety of conferences. From marketing and sales to customer experience to technology, you can bet that someone from Clarus is at most of the major events each year.

If you’ve ever Googled “marketing conferences” for example, you’ll quickly see lots of lists. It’s not hard to find out where you should be.

But have you ever Googled “2019 Loyalty Conferences”?

Surprisingly, there’s not a lot out there in terms of curated listings. So, we decided to put one together for you.

This will always be a work in progress, so if you know of any that are missing, let us know and we’ll add them. If you’ve been to any of these and want to share your thoughts, we’d love to hear about them!

Shoptalk 2019

Summary: Okay, Shoptalk isn’t focused only on loyalty, but it’s definitely a part of it and worth checking out.

From its own website, “Shoptalk is where the entire retail ecosystem comes together to create the future of retail based on the latest trends, technologies and business models, including changes in consumer expectations.”

This conference sees over 8,000 individuals attend every year. Everyone from established retailers, brands and tech companies to startups, investors and media are there.

My co-workers Chris Cobb and Carlos Dunlap-Beard will be there, so please let us know if you’d like to meet up and chat about loyalty.

Location: Las Vegas, NV



Loyalty Academy Conference 2019

Summary: Presented by the Wise Marketer, this is one of the 2019 loyalty conferences you’ll want to check out.

According to the website, you’ll want to attend if “You are a mid- to senior-level marketer with an interest in building the most effective customer strategy you can offer to your best customers, senior management, and stakeholders.”

The conference attendees include officials from airlines, cards, hotels, retail and vendors and is completely focused on loyalty innovation.

Retail Innovation Conference 2019

Summary: The Retail Innovation Conference, hosted by Retail Touchpoints, focuses on providing actionable takeaways from disruptors in the industry. All of the workshops, panels, and insights really focus on emerging tactics and technologies.

Location: New York, NY



Loyalty Expo 2019

Summary: As implied by the name, Loyalty Expo, which is put on by Loyalty 360, is a true loyalty-focused conference that is full of great experiences for both brands and loyalty vendors.

From its website, “Loyalty Expo is a true Voice of the Customer-driven, best practice-focused customer loyalty and reward conference.”

Attendees can network with hundreds of fellow loyalty marketers and hear how they’re building loyalty with customers first-hand.

Location: Charlotte, NC



CRMC 2019

Summary: CRMC brings over 200 retailers together each year to openly share their challenges and strategies around marketing and CRMC.

This is a fast-paced conference with tons of opportunities to network. You’ll leave with some new relationships and action items.

A few folks from our Business Development team will be there, so be sure to say hello!

Customer Expo 2019


Customer Expo is a forum to openly discuss customer, brand and channel challenges and solutions. Discover how to optimize the customer experience at all touch-points and increase the impact of engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.

Dates: October 24-26

Venue: Nashville Airport Marriott

Location: Nashville, TN
